![]() This is one of the games developed by the god-company tri-Ace, back when they still worked for Namco and stuff. ![]() If you’re everybody else, and you know that gameplay is also important to a good RPG, well you’re going to like Tales of Phantasia. If you’re one of those lame kiddies who think that graphics make a good RPG, well you’re going to like Tales of Phantasia. The characters are great, the story is excellent, the graphics are superb, the controls and gameplay are both good and the music is fantastic, making for an overall very enjoyable and memorable game. ![]() This game also has a time travel theme to it, similar a bit to that of Chrono Trigger. Lester and Arche Klein, who must confront the mysterious and dreadful sorcerer named Dhaos, who’s motives are kept secret until the very end of the game to the player. The playable characters of this story are Cless Alvein, Chester Barklight, Mint Adenade, Klarth F. This game features an open world that allows the player to complete various main and side quests in the order of their choosing for the most part. Battles are fought on a 2D screen that scrolls both left and right, similar to that of most fighting games such as Street Fighter. ![]() Thank you for all of your support throughout the years - CoolROM will continue strong.Tales of Phantasia is a role playing game for the Super Nintendo that combines random encounters with real time battles using something called the Linear Motion Battle System (LMBS).
